Can you wear contact lenses on roller coasters?

I am going to Orlando,FL this summer and I am going to be wearing contact lenses. I am going to Universal Studios and they have awesome Rollercoasters and I was wondering if its safe to wear contact lenses on them or will they dry out or fall out?

Please Help!!! Thanks!
Thanks heidelit… Really appreciate it.

Yes, if your eyes are easily dried out, you may have to keep your eyes shut though. And bring drops to help moisturize…have fun!

Absolutely. In fact, that is far more preferred than glasses, which are frequently lost and cannot be retrieved at the owner’s convenience. I have been a contact lens wearer for over 15 years and have worn them through everything with rarely a problem.

Be sure you have a spare pair handy too.

I never have worn contact lenses, but I’m not allowed to wear my glasses on a roller coaster because they will get lost and my mom won’t pay for it. It’s good as long as you don’t have dry, irritated eyes, because the wind rushing through your face will really annoy your eyes. Bring eye drops just in case, or better yet keep your eyes closed if that’s a possibility. I wouldn’t worry about it, I’m sure it’s fine. If you still feel like it’s an issue, just ask your doctor if it’s a problem. Have fun, I’ve never been to Orlando but I hear it’s soo fun! I want to go so bad! :]]
