Why eye exams and glasses are so much expensive in USA?Some poor countries have lot cheaper price for eye exams and glasses and they still makes money and profit.I don’t think eye exams and glasses are really that expensive in real.It’s seems everything is highly expensive in USA.

In short the answer is cost of living. I’m sure if you were to compare many other products or services between developed and poorer nations you would find that the gap exists pretty much across the board. Training standards and education play a major role in determining certification and qualifications of the doctor/optometrist (many of which do not apply in poorer nations). As well quality control/minimum safety standards in North American/European countries will drive the cost of the finished product (glasses)
