Do color blind people know what color things are in black and white TV shows?

I was watching I Love Lucy and I was wondering what color the clothes were. Then I got to thinking, do color blind people know what the colors are?
@danno428cj I know color blind people can’t see color, but they grow up learning what each color is despite the fact that they can’t actually see color. My gym teacher would always test one of the girls on her colors once he found out she was color blind because he thought it was fun, and she was always right.

Can an optician sign an Rx for contacts for an MD???

My eyes feel slightly irritated when I remove my contact lenses?

During the day when I wear my contact lenses they feel perfectly fine. However, when I remove my contact lenses in the evening they feel irritated every time I blink afterward, as if they need to adjust to no contacts being there now. This goes on for about 15 minutes, so I usually put Visine in my eyes to help stop it, which works every time.

Is this normal?

Could wearing my prescribed reading glasses all day harm my eye sight?

I just got Prescribed reading glasses because I am near sighted but my far sight vision is better that 20/20. Could wearing my +1.25 reading glasses all day harm my eye sight?

I am 26 and a computer engineer . I can do lasik surgery but for 4 years I have scared and now I want to do that but I don’t know anything about future of this surgery and I scared of its disadvantages to my eyes . So tell me about your experiences.Is ther anybody did it several years ago and now he/she is regertful??

Is it OK for someone without astigmatism to wear a person’s glasses who has astigmatism?

My friend’s glasses is is more thicker around the edge of her right lens.

Every eye doctor I see will remind me that my eyes are smaller than normal. Only a few people have been able to notice right away because the difference is less than 2mm diameter. I haven’t seen an eye doctor for a couple of years and didn’t think to ask before. Do you think that the cataract surgery at such a young age (2 weeks) is related to having smaller eyes as an adult?

My friend says there are contact lenses that one can keep in their eyes for a month.

Isn’t that a health risk? I thought contacts needed to be disposed regularly.
